At the beginning of every new year there is always the the push to cut back, cut down, and cut out. Maybe, like me, you are feeling just a little bit ‘got at’. I’ve even seen one well meaning group telling me to avoid chocolate in February. Might be a tad hard on the 14th? I’m sure so many partners would be so pleased not to get the typical delicious chocs on the 14th.
One of these pushes we, you and I, are seemingly being told to do is to stop or limit our drinking. However, this is a wine/food column and advice so what to do.

It will allow you one glass of wine and be safe home. 175ml in the UK equates to 2.1 units and two of these will put you clearly over for a breath test, but one shouldn’t. Always remember to take wine with food
